I got the update this morning. Given my past experience with Moto I was certain it was an April fool's joke. Turns out it wasn't. Hopefully we'll get Android O too as promised.

Here's a few screen shots of battery use after the 7.0 update. I'm happy with it. I disconnect 4G, WiFi, dim the screen down before bed at night and so far it goes 8 hours before it drops to 99%.

I also leave the data saver function active all the time. Don't really have a reason not to.

Does GSam battery monitor give you battery usage for individual apps after 7.0 upgrade ?
After upgrading to Nougat I found that it is unable to do so. It is said that it is a Nougat restriction.

It's showing % usage for Chrome and Android Central etc in your 2nd screenshot.It was like that for me while on MM.
After 7.0 the app does not show the break up like it is showing in your screenshot.Instead it asks for root access.

I have the paid version. But not sure that matters. Here's screen shots from this morning.
I checked the gsam app on a Z Play and it doesn't show apps like it does on the G4 Plus so I am not sure why.

Thanks for your answers.
Mine is a G4 Plus too .After upgrading to 7.0 when I found that GSam did not show battery usage by each app I had uninstalled the app.I also read somewhere (most probably Nexus Forums) that GSam does not show individual app battery usage on 7.0.
However,since I have no problem with battery life on my G4 Plus on 7.0 I did not reinstall it again.

I'm now getting touchscreen issues after Nougat. Is there any fix?
