Highly impressed with battery!!!

I'm very pleased with he battery. Got the phone 2 days ago. I'm pretty extreme with disabling background data and individual apps.

But wow.....I did not expect to get this far with it. Going to let it go overnight again and see how it does. Last night I charged it to 100%, 7 hours later it was still at 100%.

Same here. I bought this phone a month ago and it lasts me at least 2 days and minimal usage. Do you disable all background data apps or certain ones like Facebook?

Here's the updated battery stats after using it for awhile last night. Overnight it lost 1%. For a $150 phone I won't complain. I don't game on this much so maybe that helps. Just my opinion but I'm hoping this stays MM. I have no idea if they are pushing N to this or not, haven't looked into it.

I generally disable the background data most of the time. I don't use Facebook on my phones. I have yet to run across an app that is harmed, or impeded by leaving background data restricted. Besides social media.

I also look at each app. I look at what permissions it has and if they need it. Some really make no sense. Why would a news app need access to my SMS messages or my contacts.

Within each app I will also restrict it from accessing data on 4g, unless I want it to.

Don't get me wrong I use data. I'm over 15gb this month. I just want to use it as I want not as some app thinks it needs it.

I disable or uninstall and bloatware or apps I don't use.

Nice to know that even with a 1080p, the G4 has good battery life. I like the battery life on my G3 too. Glad to know that onder Lenovo, the G series is still so solid.

Just picked up one of these on Swappa, hope to have it first of next week. This is very encouraging!

I returned my G4 and got a G4 Plus. I wanted the extra internal storage.
But battery life is just as good.
