I can't understand how Moto bootloaders are so hard to crack? Everyone was modding the OG Droid back in the day, was that before Moto started locking things down?
As far as I know, every type of system that companies say can't be hacked always ends up getting hacked. The only systems that don't get hacked are ones that would be crazy illegal like the NSA or CIA, but even the Chinese could hack those. When the Nissan GT-R came out, they said nobody would be able to hack the software to tune the car. Guess what, people are running 8 second 1/4 mile times now. That 'locked down' software took maybe weeks to hack.
And it's been years and nobody can crack the Moto stuff? Have they just given up or is it not worth it?
