Will I get a Motorola skip with my Sprint version?

One of the things I like about the moto x is the skip... What I just read is that you only get the skip if you order through moto Maker is that true?

When I ordered yesterday I thought skip comes with every moto X...

Has anyone gotten the Sprint version yet and did it include skip?

No. I just got my X yesterday, and Skip does not come with it.

my verizon moto x didnt and im pretty sure that it is just moto maker ones like you mentioned, because if you go to the site and try it out i think its automatically selected for you under accessories for free

For what it's worth, and YOUR MILEAGE MAY VARY, I called Motorola this morning and they agreed to send me a Skip for free.

Here is what I said (and it's true by the way, wasn't waxing BS):

• I was nice and polite
• I explained that I hadn't owned a Motorola device in over 10 years
• That I bought the Moto X largely because of Skip and now that I realized that I wasn't going to get one, that I was disappointed (my Moto X is being delivered tomorrow)
• That I felt that I took a chance buying a first generation device
• That I felt that I should have waited for Moto Maker on Sprint but decided to order now because of the Skip and other features even though I lost the option to customize my device
• That I thought that the Skip came with it
• and that the promotion of the Skip didn't really make clear that it was a Moto Maker exclusive
