Anyone received it straight from the factory with KitKat yet? Which carrier?

Just ordered one for my wife through Motomaker (AT&T) on Thursday night and wondering which it will come with.

Thanks!

Ordered my VZW Moto X off Motomaker on Monday, received it yesterday, and it had 4.2.2 loaded. It downloaded 4.4 within 15 minutes of activation though.

Do yourself a favor and don't put anything on your phone until 4.4 is installed. Then wipe your cache partition, factory reset, and go about setting up your phone normally.

I ordered mine yesterday and I'm hoping it comes with 4.4 out of the box. I hate day one updates, I just want to use my phone.

Couldn't agree more. It's always best to do a factory reset after a software update.

I know there are lots of people who are having success without a reset. Which is why I get irritated by people saying everyone should just do a reset.

I'd do it if the phone got laggy. My Moto X upgraded to KitKat is not. If I was having problems, the reset would be the first thing I did.

It takes like 5 minutes on a fresh device and you're no worse for wear. My suggestion might save the OP some potential headaches. Don't take it personally.
