Moto X shuts down (off) while in pocket

Has anyone else noticed that a fully charged Moto X will occasionally shut off while its in your pocket, for no apparent reason?

Its happening here, sometimes several times per day. Really driving my wife crazy. She loves every other feature about the phone.
(Oh, and the custom color wore off the buttons already).

Lol. Sorry but that just doesnt sound right. How long have you had it? Its not like the buttons are spray painted with Krylon . Also never heard of the power shutting off for no reason. Send it back if its driving your wife crazy.

I would call Motorola. I've never had my phone turn off on me plus the color of the buttons are coming off...sounds like you guys got a dud.

I have a "stock black" moto x, I have it in my pocket all the time, only place I carry it and it's never shut off.
