Can someone explain storage locations?

I'm confused by the storage structure of the Moto X. When I first go into Astro File Manager, I see the following directories, all of which seem to be empty except for sdcard0, which I believe is the normal phone storage. Also, I've heard that the SIM card can store some information (contacts, I believe). Is there really any storage on the SIM or was I told wrong?

Have you been using an OTG cable on your device? thats where the USBdisk folders likely came from.

Sdcard0 is the internal storage of the device

To answer your question, yes the sim card can store contacts and sms

I have never used an OTG cable (don't even own one). I've only ever connected this phone to 2 PCs using the supplied USB charger cable.

Thanks for the info on the SIM. I will look into that for my text messages (I keep contacts on Google).
