    It can be done with SwiftKey, not sure about stock Google keyboard.

    SwiftKey can be. Just hold 123 to get to the menu and then resize

    The SwiftKey keyboard can be resized. Hold down the SwiftKey button in the lower left corner. Options will come up to resize along with other options.
