Xfinity Connect App

Anyone here try the Xfinity Connect app which lets you make calls from your smartphone but uses your Home number?
The App which is Free works but my callers receive an Echo. I did a Google Search but I found no remedy.I am not sure if it's Router related.
The app settings do not mention anything related to Echo cancellation option.

My guess is that it's just buggy. Xfinity apps are not known to be the most refined. I'd email the developer and let them know about the problem.

I have it mainly to see who is calling when I'm out of the house. I've tried to answer the call but the people can not hear me at all. I even tried an outgoing call with similar results. Even on the strongest wifi, the recipient of the call can not hear me.

I got this app and it spams me with sound notifications constantly of new remails.

How do I disable the email notification of this thing?
