I have the Sprint version, but In only disabled 6 apps, otherwise the phone came near bloat free out of the box.

Sent from my Nexus 5 using AC Forums mobile app

IIRC, but is the AT&T Address Book the only pre-installed AT&T app that can't be disabled?

I think you need to define what you consider to be AT&T's bloatware.

Don't really know. Just know when I look at my apps there are a ton of them. I didn't download them so I can only assume they're preloaded don't know if they are at or Motorola.
Like I said I'm not the most tech savvy person.

Motorola's apps aren't bloatware. They are features of the Moto X.

Then maybe you'd best leave them alone.

My case is a bit different since I use very few Google apps or cloud services.

I still leave enabled: PlayStore, Maps, YouTube, Google Search, Translate, Touchless Control and Active Display.

If you know what the term "bloatware" means, you're smarter than you say you are :)

The point is, is that AT&T is engaging in what is known as "false advertising". On their site for the 2 year contract Moto X (2nd gen)

Key features include:
5.2” HD display
Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 801 quad-core processor
13MP camera with 4K capture
Pure Android™ experience
Moto voice control

OOPS! OOOPS! DOH!

"Gee, let's hope that our ***** customers don't know what pure android means."

Let me make this clear.

IF IT DOESN'T COME OUT OF THE BOX EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE PURE EDITION, THEN IT'S NOT A PURE ANDROID EXPERIENCE.
