Best resolution for wallpaper for Moto X

Does anyone know what the idea resolution is? I'm having trouble setting pics I've downloaded. They're not wallpaper per se, but I don't recall having this much trouble with my previous phone. I'm stock, been using mostly stock launcher and Nova. Have tried Wallpaper Wizardry without much success.

Motorola phones now a days have a terrible setup for wallpapers. If you activate Google+ and have the Google+ Gallery on your phone you can set wallpapers while choosing that application. This makes it so much better but still not perfect.

*Assuming this hasn't changed since I dropped the Droid for a Note.
