(This is a follow up to my thread in the Moto G forum, Moto G or Moto X?)
I had a helluva time deciding between a Moto X or Moto G but the moto maker customization swayed me to choose a Moto X. I ordered a 32GB Moto X with an orange back, black front and blue accents. It finally arrived today and it just feels awesome in my hand and the screen is the perfect size. I stacked my iPhone 5c on top of it and they are the exact same size so basically Apple could make a bigger iPhone if they didn't waste so much space on the bezel. It also feels lighter than my iPhone and according to phonearena it is 4.59oz compared to 4.66oz for the 5c.
Android is a whole new experience for me but it seems that it is easy to learn how to use. The only thing that seems weird for me is having an actual back button and I miss having a physical button like the iPhone but I plan to give android a fair chance. The biggest thing I like is that swype keyboard is standard in the default keyboard. I remember with the Android phone I used years ago that ran on 2.3 Gingerbread I had to download swype to use it. I guess that's it for now. But I will try to post my thoughts about the Moto X and Android once a day or every few days.
