Yes, speaker volume is super super good and no use to have a work phone as HTC One with a decently good speakers for the Beats Audio a little with the Moto X and the speakers are phenomenal I was like shocked and surprised and the screen quality is phenomenal.

Not only the speaker volume is excellent but also audio recording is BY FAAAR the best in any phone I've ever tried. In particular, it's better than Samsung devices by leaps and bounds!!! I'm assuming this is due to the higher quality mics and/or the combination of multiple mics on the phone. If you compare videos of the Moto X to Galaxy S4 or even HTC, the audio quality/clarity is MUCH MUCH better on the Moto X.

I've always thought that Motorola included excellent speakers (and mics) in their devices. This has not changed with the Moto X.

The Moto X is extremely loud. Especially the ringtones
I can hear phone calls even when the phone is indoors and I'm in the front yard

I feel like the speaker on my note 2 was slightly louder but the sound quality on my moto x is better.
