The Moto X launched in India quite recently and I got myself a wooden back one. Im a photography enthusiast and I own a Panasonic FZ200 for general use and birding. I got the Moto X because on paper, the large 1.4um pixels should do a good job in low light as well as provide good dynamic range in brightly lit scenes.
I was aware that people were decrying the camera as being rubbish and I must say, I was pretty surprised. Im running the KitKat version now and perhaps the camera software has improved? In any case, here are some sample shots -

The camera isnt that bad. Just be aware that lighting is important.
