Encryption Visual Cues

Hello -- for anyone that had enabled encryption on their moto X, is there any visual cues that the encryption process finished successfully?

I tried it the other night. I set the passcode then i left the phone to do its thing, and when i came back to it it looked just the same. i didn't see any errors or any success message.

When you power on it will ask for a password to decrypt. That should tell you for sure it was successful.

You'll know, when you turned it on it'll keep beeping endlessly until you enter the password and become super hot over time.

uhh no.

Sounds like it never completed then. Thanks for the info guys. I guess i'll try it again later. I might wait until winter to put that 'super hot' feature to good use
