Why does the home part of Assist work only sometimes?

I don't know. For me, it works pretty much all the time.

When it's not working do you still get the 'home' icon in notifications area, or no? Think I saw a thread where someone said Assist -> Home depends on Google Maps for specific address location, and sometimes the coords from Maps are 'off' just enough to make phone think it's - well, not quite home.

In other words, Maps might have your address at like, the street/curb, rather than in the middle of your structure. Not sure if that's what's causing it not to work for you but others have seen this.
