Fastest charge rate on Moto X?

What's the fastest / highest charge rate you've observed on your Moto X (2013)?

I ask because I've been experimenting with different chargers and cables. The best I've seen is 1,050 MA using a GE 2.1A 2-port charger and the custom cable that came with my Karma Go hotspot. From 0 to 100%, that took 2 hours 25 minutes with the phone on, and 2 hours 10 minutes with the phone off. I'm wondering if this is the best I can expect.

I'm using the app Ampere to observe the charge rate.

If you use a really heavy cable (#18 or larger wires) and a short one (6" or less), you might get more. (The less resistance in the cable, the more current will flow through - IF the phone itself isn't limiting the current to 1.05 Amps.) But anything more than 2.2 Amps will destroy the battery.

(BTW, discharging to 0% will also destroy the battery quickly. Try to charge when the battery is between 40% and 50% for longest life, especially on a phone without a removable battery.)
