No data after software update, Pure Talk USA

I use Pure Talk Usa and after the latest Android software update of my first generation Moto X, I could no longer access the internet. After several tries with support we finally figured out what was wrong. For some reason the update changed two front slashes to two backslashes in the access point menu, MMSC. Just a heads up for anyone having this problem.
