any word from Moto reference lack of Lollipop?

Hi, just wondered I had my PE X in the UK nearly a month, weeks before that there were claims X was getting it before the Nexus, and Lollipop out of the box?
Which it clearly isn't.
I have read about problems, but I have had it on my Nexus 4 for weeks with no issues at all, are the problems with Moto Assist?
Have they even explained the delay?
