Android 5 /Moto X gone into slow-mo. How can I get it out of slow-mo mode?

Android 5 /Moto X gon into slo-mo.

Any ideas? Everything was ok, then for some reason all animations, menus, apps have gone into some sort of slow-mo mode.!!!

Well, simple things first. I'm assuming you've tried powering off and back on again?

Tried that. The phone was really snappy and responsive and now it's sluggish and laggy, and like I said before, it's like all menu operations are in some sort of slo-mo? Frustrating as hell.

Next step is probably to try clearing the system cache if you haven't already done so. Did you notice whether this problem started after you downloaded or updated anything?
Is your phone using excessive amounts of RAM?

Ok, looked up on how to clear the cache, and now it seems back to it's snappy self. Fingers crossed.
