I went from the S5 to the MXPE, and the battery is better in the MXPE (YMMV)

I was concerned about battery life based on comments in here but in my experience it's been outstanding, certainly better than my V20.

I am glad I saw this thread last night. I thank the OP who posted it. I just bought this phone two weeks ago so today I went to Best Buy and they honored the price reduction...credited back to my card a little over 100 bucks.
