Moto X Pure Edition release date?

Moto X release is on the first Wednesday of September.

As far as I know this is all we have to go on other than Motorola's official "Fall 2015". Fall actually begins on September 23rd though.

This guy has been dead on with leaks about Moto from what I can tell....I don't think he'll give up his source since it's probably a very good one.

I hope he's right as well but there is a difference between seeing the phone and telling us what he saw and hearing what someone told him the release could be. So atm I'm waiting and seeing.

I don't think he would say this if he wasn't sure. He's always hedged his comments when he wasn't 100% sure, and was up front about it.

yeah I followed him for the pass 3 months, and he said it would have a 5.7" display from the jump. and from what I was told, he was dead on last year too. didn't have all the info, but shared what he knew for sure and didn't BS. definitely a reliable source going forward.

He may know someone at Motorola. I work downtown Chicago and my office is 2 blocks from Motorola's offices at the Merchandise Mart. Unfortunately I don't know anyone there.

Things can always change, especially if there are any unforeseen delays, but that's what I was told. You can just look at my track record to suggest legitimacy. For months, I've been saying 5.7", selfie flash, soft-touch rubber back, new faster charger, no usb-c, different thicker version with no selfie flash and different rear flash, etc.

If past trends continue, I'll be checking out the 2016 X in February.
