Just an idea, but do you have to train with the phrase, "Ok, Google Now"?

Does anyone have a Moto X, can you try training with a different phrase?

How does it know what phrase you're saying? Through the speech-to-text engine?

If you have an accent, it may not work?

Seems better to just go with a phone with a SnapDragon 800, which allows you to use any vocal noise you want to wake the phone.

After all, the chip is simply correlating against a saved waveform.

You go into the settings and set up the touchless control, it'll have you repeat "Okay Google Now" 3 times and some words. As long as it's in english you just have to say it like how you said it while setting it up.
Lol that sounds eh, to wake the phone? This is much more usefull :p. And just because the chip supports it, dosen't mean they'll make good use of it.
