Received a system update today

From Motorola on Verizon Network. Anyone else. This was automatically downloaded to phone. Just had to install it. No other information because I am driving. Just curious if anyone has received it.

What state, county or city you're in doesn't matter..

No, you probably can't get it from Status/Update yet...

Folks, they often push to a bunch of folks NOT in the soak test, kinda like a blind test.

Then they PUSH by MEID number at a rate they think works best for them for a day or two...or three...

Later they will open up the Status/Update for folks to PULL from.

Yes. This is the case.

Motorola traditionally pushes out in batches. Your location doesn't matter. It will go through stages of push until it's available for pull for everyone who didn't get the update pushed.

I understand that we haven't gotten to the pull phase yet, but is there any way to extract the update from their servers and install manually, like other phones do?

Received my update mid-day yesterday. Right off the bat I realized my phone was heating up alot more than usual. Before the update I barely even noticed my phone warm up while using. Now I can actually feel my phone warming up just sitting in my pocket without even being used.

Not sure if its just me. Besides this, the update looks good so far. I have noticed the improvement in Camera quality. Everything else seems to be working fine.

UPDATE: Went into my battery usage and realized Google+ was using almost 20% of my battery. Went into my Sync Settings and noticed that the Google+ Auto Backup was stuck on syncing. I turned off the syncing and re-synced it and the phone has been cool since. Whew glad I got that fixed, it was eating up my battery. Went to 60% in 3 hours. I'll monitor it from here.

I'm in Alexandria, VA and don't have the update yet!?!?!?

I check status and it says "no update available" WTF?!?!? I guess I better go make 2 or 3 new threads on this right away...

UPDATE: I read that deleting all Google services can force the update so I did that then rebooted my device and now it's stuck on the boot animation...HALP! Google better their @#$% together!

Also, I have a Galaxy S4, do you think that's why I can't get this update?

Any people with Verizon Dev editions get the update pushed to them yet?

I have a Dev edition and still haven't gotten the update :/

(Yes I know I could just flash the update, but I haven't unlocked my bootloader yet because I just got the phone recently and I want to make sure everything is 100% ok with it before I unlock it).

every time i click check for update and see the message "your device is up to date!" i just want to punch the wall. the fact that there is an exclamation point is what drives me to do so because its spitting in my face, telling me im wrong, that there is no update needed or available. i take it as an insult and a mockery. le sigh. #dailyrant
