Hey all,

I would like to make my Macbook Pro a trusted Bluetooth device in my house so I don't need to worry about the lockscreen on my X. Trouble is, the two devices will not stay connected to one another. They can see each other and are even paired together. The connection will be solid for about 5 seconds and the X will ask if I want to make the Mac a trusted BT device but then they disconnect. Has anyone had luck pairing their Mac to their X via Bluetooth?

Thanks

This is just a wild guess since I'm not lucky enough to have a Mac Pro or MacBook Pro or MacBook Air anymore. Oh, how I miss them. The build quality. The sleekness. The accessories. The OSXness.... ...but I digress.

I wonder if there's anything in the Mac's power settings or bluetooth settings that are causing it to release the X.

Yea, using OSX doesn't work, same goes for iOS. It will work if you have Win7 or Win8 installed on your MacBook (through BootCamp) - my MotoX stays properly connected with no issues.
