Fitbit won't stay actively connected for me so it doesn't work as a trusted BT for me. My computer (HP laptop) won't stay as a active connection either.

I got calls and it routed them to the speaker attached to my keychain. Disabling audio or phone from the device kills them as an active connection so you lose the "trusted" functionality. And yes, for me, the Zomm or my Jawbone kill my car connection if I forget to turn them off before I start the car.
Looks like at the moment, the smart watches are the best solution for maintaining an active connection without having an unwanted audio device connected. The Cookoo keyfob looks like it would be a good device if they ever get it out (and add android support).
