Can I change the default pic format for screenshots from PNG to JPG?

Hi All,

My X saves pics in PNG which is nice for the accuracy, but I would like to make it always .JPG but can't seem to find that option to set pic formats.

Must be looking in all the wrong places.

Where an I change that default?

Are you referring to the Motorola Camera app? Mine are JPG.

Screenshots are PNG.

Downloads are whatever the original is.

Ooops, sorry, my mistake, I should have been more accurate. The screenshot is PNG and that's what I would like to reset to JPG if possible.

As you state, the camera is using JPG.

I actually did fiqure out an easy way to change a screenshot from PNG to JPG. All you have to do as with the screenshot you wish to change from PNG to JPG is act like you are going to crop it but really dont change the size(unless you want to). Then you will see in the details of the screenshot the image has been changed I will add screenshots in a second .

I tried this on a Galaxy s7 and it didn't work. hmmmm I'll try the Samsung section of this forum.I just ended up here through a Google search
