Default Battery level notification on active display

I would like to see battery level on the active display. I was thinking an app that sent notifications or at certain levels would trigger that. Anyone know of an app that already does it? If not I'm sure it is possible to write that in tasker, correct?

I don't know if it is possible but would love to see this too.

Best way is just to get a battery widget app:
This app let you set alerts for different battery levels. You need to make sure to have it checked in Active Display's list of apps.

I would prefer to do it using Tasker which allows more tuning and have it notify only when the screen is off, but it's also more complicated.

Thanks. I'll give batterywidget a try.

I've never fooled with Tasker but if batterywidget doesn't do the trick I wouldn't mind learning how to use Tasker.

I used to have a galaxy s3 and lived on the little battery percentage but with the moto x I done have a issue pulling the task bar down and clicking on the person icon to check the battery.

IIRC, battery level is displayed on Active Display when it's below 15%. I haven't gotten that low recently but I'll keep an eye out.

It does. If I remember correctly it's a little red battery icon.
