An update from David Schuster of Motorola on Google+: https://plus.google.com/+DavidSchuster/posts/Dfpjj3F2K6T

If you are asking about the Verizon Moto X upgrade to 4.4.4, we are hoping to start rolling that out in next couple of weeks. We really needed to get the update out to the 2013 DROID Lines since it had been delayed for a number of reason.

Sounds good to me. I think it's good the Droid line got a little love for once. There are more Motorola users on Verizon with Droids than Moto X's.

Re: Verizon Moto X: 4.4.4 KitKat Update

I'm more anticipating the Android L update for my Moto X on Verizon. To be honest I couldn't care less about 4.4.4. I have it on my LG GPad Google Play Edition and there isn't any difference. I know the Android L update won't happen until at least the fall, but 4.4.2 is working fine on my Moto X.

Yeah, I can deal without a new dialer and a slight bump in camera quality. Just bring on Android L.

What's up with all of the candid disclosure? It's making me nervous. Carriers and OEM's are supposed to say NOTHING! Silly Moto...

Re: Verizon Moto X: 4.4.4 KitKat Update

There are few important fixes in the Android 4.4.3 and 4.4.4, most notably battery fixes. The battery life in 4.4.2 took a big hit for Moto X, a lot of users have complains about that, you guys not noticing?

I'll be on us, my battery life is about the same with 4.4 .2. I love my phone does nothing about it that I want to change the only thing that could possibly think of it is not available on Verizon Wireless is going to 64 gig version of the Moto X , but whatever!

...and when it's been off on your desk for a while, you can bring up the clock/padlock by waving your hand over it.

Sure glad I no longer have to expend all that energy rocking it.

That's the Moto g build. Moto X is 212.55.26 and it's ghost. G is Falcon. Looks like the Verizon page is messed up lol

This is actually a benefit in meetings. Rocking it makes a noise and draws attention to the guy who wants to know what time it is.
