Question about insurance/extended warranty for new Z Force Droid

So I just bought the 64 GB model of the Z Force directly from Moto. Much to my surprise, I was never given an option to purchase insurance, an extended warranty, etc. The 32 GB model we bought through Verizon had that option. Does Moto/Lenovo not offer such an option? And if so, what exactly ARE my options? I normally don't go in for such things, but with the new Moto Mods and my intention to keep this for longer than usual, I'd like some piece of mind. Thanks.

I don't think Moto Care is available for Verizon branded phones.
