To be honest I have not payed much attention to Nougat because I figured it would be a while until we get it. So I have a question. Is there any way to put Chrome on both split screens? I can't figure it out if there is.

Once upon a time there was (Chrome allowed multiple instances of it running), but not sure when they took that out. So now nope, you can't. UNLESS you use an app like Parallel Space, which essentially lets you install a second instance of an app (sort of like having a phone inside your phone), and you can then use that to run two Chrome 'tabs' side by side.

Yes you can. Open up chrome browser start the split screen, then click on chrome 3 dots and you'll see an option to move to other window.
