There was some hinting and buzz several months back that made it seem like Moto was going to reuse the Razr name. I can't help but wonder, with the incredible thinness of the Moto Z, if they toyed with the Razr name before settling on the Moto Z name...

They did say that they only posted that picture for nostalgia and because of the Razr's anniversary, not because they planned to re-launch the brand.

Sure, but that sounds like the kind of thing they'd say if they changed their minds. It could well be true, it was just a thought. It does make me think of my Droid Razr in some ways.
