Has anyone successfully tethered with the Admiral?

If I use the mobile hotspot app that comes on the phone, will Sprint be able to detect it? I do not pay for tethering in my plan.

Re: Tethering?
Yes they will know but if you have the unlimited data plan it shouldn't matter.

Re: Tethering?
I am currently tethering my laptop to my Admiral using WiFi Tether ver 3.1-pre110 with no problems!

Re: Tethering?
Good for you! I just converted from WebOS & my wife is still there. We both tether with freeTether there but the native MHS app had to be altered so it wouldn't be detected. We personally never had any issues either so maybe Sprint just doesn't really care.

I too came over from webos. I used my Pre for over 2 years. I loved it but finally had to move on a couple of months ago. I started with a Photon which was a powerhouse phone but found i could not live without a physical keyboard. How are you liking Android so far?-are there things you like better and are there things you really miss from webos?

Re: Tethering?
I'm actually surprised to say that I really like it. I think the only thing I could say that I miss is the 'Just type' convenience of WebOS. I used that constantly to find whatever app or contact I wanted so I didn't have to scroll through everything. Oh, and the lag, I really miss the constant lag of my overclocked Pre

I use my phone to read my emails probably 95% of the time and on android it's a much better experience.
Overall, entering day 4 and I'm very pleased so far!Always have your stuff when you need it with Dropbox. Sign up for free! http://db.tt/4AiUNSMC
