App name for native Mobile Hotspot?
Does anyone know the actual name for the native (stock) Mobile Hotspot app? I know that in the app launcher it shows as "Mobile Hotspot" but if I look in Avast, Gemini, Titanium Backup, etc. it isn't listed. There are a few apps listed with names such as com.motorola.____ or com.android._____ and a few even have "sprint" in the name. I'm thinking that maybe its one of these?
Reason I'm asking is that I have read in a few different forums that if you can freeze the native hotspot then it won't be able to check with Sprint to see if the device is subscribed to a tethering plan. I'd love to try it and see if it works, but I can't seem to find the Mobile Hotspot app to freeze it.Always have your stuff when you need it with Dropbox. Sign up for free! http://db.tt/4AiUNSMC

Re: App name for native Mobile Hotspot?
On other motorola phones it looks like they include it in the settings.apk so that you can't muck with it.

Figures. Wonder if it would be possible to edit that .apk and replace the original. Not to sure I have the skills to do it but I know there are lots of others here with much better skills.
