My parents are on a family plan with Sprint and the way Sprint works, you're paying a flat rate for the data portion regardless of how many of what type of phone is on the account. My Dad is currently using a flip. He works in a machine shop so this appears to be his best option, not to mention the proper keyboard at the bottom.

I did some looking at the usual suspects like Otterbox, but are there any other cases out there that you guys know of? I realize this wasn't ever the "must have" phone and it's been out for a while, but I'd like to get him something for it if possible.

I was super glad I had it when I juggled my phone getting out of the car with my hands full. Probably about a 5 foot drop onto the parking lot. Nicked the case up, but no damage to the phone. Yay!

And hey, if you dont like it, you're only out a few bucks.

(Note, I dont use the screen protector just the hard shell part.)
