Physical Keyboard restarts
My backflip restarts itself whenever I attempt to use the physical keyboard on it. Has anyone else had these issues or know of a fix?

The 2.1 update should fix it for you. Mine did it occasionally, but since the update, no problems.

I've read many places that if that happens when using the hardware keyboard it's a battery problem, that the battery is not fitting correctly in the device and when you press on the keyboard the battery loses contact with the phone... I'd call your carrier up and tell them and they should send you a new battery free of charge. The batteries were not all made right, some were a tad bit thinner than others. If you search the motorola forum you'll find that info.
