Cliq and its quirky behavior?

What is the deal with apps running that I haven't even opened? Then I have this wierd screen is rotated when I open some apps. I have to reboot to fix it. I see why my wife had issues with this phone. I got her the mytouch and its running 1.6 and seems to be a whole lot more stable than the cliq with 1.5. Anyone know how to shut the apps off permanently?

What kinda apps? Have you tried using a task killer?

Yep got it already. I think it was the 4Gb micro sd card causing my issues. It was in 3 or 4 diff BB so I got me a 8Gb put it in and my cliq got faster and seems to have stopped the strange behavior.
