Having trouble installing .apks on sdcard

I downloaded a bunch of .apks and then put them on my sdcard via my USB drive and manage memory card (this was all done from my computer), I have also rooted my devour but I have no idea how to install the apps straight from my sdcard. I've tried "command prompt" and I've also tried "winadb," but with no luck I can't seem to install the apps. I've also rooted my phone, but that doesn't seem to help. Help please?

I've also been searching all over google for help, but none seems to help.

The best way I've found to install APKs from the sdcard is to launch the APK from the Root Explorer app or similar (ES File Explorer is a free alternative) from on your phone. From there the package installer should take care of everything.

Thanks by the way, but i found the adb command that worked and now it is installed.
