Signal?

I got the Devour about 5 days ago and over-all a good phone. But I've noticed the signal is a bit crappy. A few days ago I was out at a few places and it said I was roaming at least twice, lost 3G, etc. A friend that has a Curve 8330 with VZW had no problems at all. Anyone else having this problem with the Devour? I already done *228, 1 and 2, took battery out for around a minute, and even reset phone.

Thing is phonescoop.com did a review and even they said the signal on the Devour was "unimpressive, and lousy in some cases". Even they talked about it losing contact with 3G.

So did they and myself get unlucky and get crappy Devours, or are they all like this? Also can this be fixed with a software update?

I had encountered this same issue and it turns out to be an issue with the radio inside. Get a replacement cause it is NOT a software issue but a hardware issue. Screen shot of info....

What is the screeenshot supposed to tell us? My phone has the same data, is this of a "good" build or of the one you say is defective? Thanks. I've only lost 3g unexpectedly twice since I've had it (last Tuesday).

That screen shot was only to state that ALL softwares in the initial issue are same, BUT just a few units have had HARDWARE ISSUES.

My Devour's signal is rarely at full bars, but I haven't had any issues w/ dropped calls. Mostly the only issue is that my GPS puts me in the Charles River sometimes, instead of where I actually am.
