    Default Newbie & GPS

I'm sure there is an obvious answer but I often see posts with people saying they locked onto x number of satellites. My question is how do you determine how many satellites you're locked onto. Is there an app or is it displayed in some menu?
Thanks for your consideration. I'm an ex Palm guy who is loving my droid 2G.
