you mac guys, why don't you use VLC. its the best video/audio player their is. it doesnt look as nice as quicktime or Windows media player, but you can skin it to be just like them.

honestly havent had a need to this .ogg file was the first thing i came across that wouldnt play and didnt care since wasnt going to use the files on my comp anyways lol.

I followed this thread because I wanted the R2-D2 sounds... then right afterwards I found this page, http:// www dot r2d2translator dot com slash index dot php...
you can make your own translations in mp3 format and then just drop them to your phone. I've got the most obnoxious phone ever right now!

(sorry about the link format, too many forums and I can never remember each one's rules about links)

Problem you got the ringtones in the .rar but you did not get the notification tones. The difference is the ringtones keep repeating and the notification tones just play once and are store in a different folder. ususlly /system/media/notifications/
