Unlocking when charging...

When I unlock or lock my droid 2 global when on the charger it makes this annoying sound and I can't find how to get rid of it at all. If anyone knows how please let me know, I searched around and couldn't find any info... plus when charging at night my screen will come on sometimes during the night and stay on, any ideas on that too???

Rooted? Custom ROM? Mine started making a dull chime then a high pitched beep every time I locked the screen. Was doing it for like a week, totally out of the blue, then stopped yesterday.

Between Gmail sync problems, phone rebooting after unlocking, and so many other weird issues, this is by far the buggiest phone I've ever used.

Nonetheless, it's still better than it was before rooting and applying a new ROM lol.

From the homescreen: menu > settings > sound > uncheck screen lock sounds. Back to the previous menu > applications > development > uncheck stay awake.
