Netflix app working on rooted gb droid 2

Just tested the netflix app on my rooted Gingerbread droid 2. It works flawlessly. So happy to finally have netflix on my phone

here is the download link but what i read from the android central article it only works on gb roms including the leaked rom released a few months ago (which you can find in the rom section of this forum).

mine(Droid 2 non-global) only started working once i loaded the leaked rooted gingerbread os, and i now can enjoy the netflix app but not with a charger near by cause it kills it.

If your D2 is still running 2.2 it did not work. There is an update that was pushed out within the past few days for netflix and it removed the device check so you can give that a try but I hear its hit or miss. Best luck is to wait for official release or get a leaked GB

Shouldnt be to long for the release OG droid on 2.2 is now supported.
