Accidentally this in the Droid forums, was told I should post this here instead.

Upgraded to Gingerbread 2.3.3 after rooting. Phone worked great for couple of weeks. I installed a wallpaper rotator app from the market this past Friday, decided not to use it then uninstalled. My phone crashed during the uninstall, rebooted but couldn't get past the Droid eye boot up screen (restarted several times). Finally decided to clear cache/factory reset.

Phone still boots up with 2.3.3, I activated the phone but I cannot get an internet connection. Browser and Marketplace both refuse to connect. I can make calls just fine but I'm not ready to call Verizon yet. The phone can detect a Wifi spot but the connect button never lights up.

My mobile network state shows disconnected. Service state is in service. And it sees a Wifi MAC address.

Any ideas?

you can SBF back to 2.2 then upgrade to 2.3.3 again and hopefully you'll be fixed. i think that will work. I could walk you through it.
