Text messaging jumps to top of conversation
After about a month with the Fascinate I got a Droid2 global because I missed having a physical keyboard.
Im having a problem with sms though.
Many times when I open a text messaging conversation, the list will jump all the way to the top. I then have to scroll all the way down to see the latest message. Is this a known issue or is there any way to fix this? - 05-27-2011, 01:34 PM #2
known issue. no fix unless you use a 3rd party messaging app like handcent

I see, i see. Is there any way to download the stock vanilla text messaging app? My friend has a g2 and I like the simplicity. I am rooted so I can move it to the system/app directory, I just need to find the Apk.

yeah, you could just rip it from any AOSP froyo ROM, or download android straight from google.
