Protective cover for Droid 3?

The only one they said was available at the Verizon store was a silicon one, a little bit spongy. The main problem with it is that the phone tends to start wanting to pop out of it!

I had a "Body Glove" for my Droid 2 that was very nice. I was going to go on line to look for something similar for my Droid 3, but I just wanted to check with you guys about whether third party things like that are reliable ... what do you think?

its not out yet/soon to be released but I suggest this when it does release. I will be getting one for my wife when it does for her D3. I currently have a otterbox defender on my Storm 2 and swear by them. I have dropped, kicked, tossed and my 1 yr old niece used it as a toy and my phone does not have a scratch on it. The guy I work with who sold me on them rock climbs and his fell out of his backpack at 40ft up into his climb. He rappelled down and sure enough, not a scratch on his phone.

I bought the soft touch cover from Verizon store, and it nice phone feels safe and grip is crazy good

I am a Body Glove fan as well, but when I enquired about a case for the D3, they said they won't have one until about 3 weeks from now. I needed SOMETHING, so I bought a Qmadix one from Amazon (LINK). You can read my review on Amazon. Excellent case!

Well, I went ahead and ordered one. I hope that it will fit over extended battery. I hope it will because my phone fits fine in my car dock with the extended battery without any modifications to the dock.

I have this as well. I like the case and holster, however, it does not mate very well with the verizon car dock / home dock. I have difficulty getting the phone to recognize its in the dock with this case on.
