Extended Battery Effects?

How much battery life are you guys getting with your D3s with the extended batteries? I see the other thread, but most of that is stock.

Im getting 12-14 hrs of moderate to heavy use. About 1 1/2 hrs of phone calls, 2 push email accounts, 30 or so texts, 10 min of google maps, 1 hr of streaming audio and a hour or so of plume (twitter) w / browser. I usually have 20-30 battery life when I plug it in at night.

so with that after 12-14 hours you are sitting at 20-30% or 12-14 before your phone has to shut off?

My day is usually around 14 hrs. I have 20-30% charge when I get home and throw it on a charger. I don't know how the extended battery compares to the stock because I have never used the stock battery.

Right now I just went to 40% and its been off charger for 10 hrs and 20 munutes.

What extended battery are you using? I was wondering if I could use my DX extended battery in my D3.

No it's a different battery. And it seems like my stock battery outlasts my extended..

Should replace the extended one then, since that is obviously not right. I get at least three more hours with the extended battery, depending on use (average).

The extended battery lasts quite a bit longer for me too. And, honestly, I see no downside. It does not really increase the size of the unit. IMO, this is the battery Moto should have gone with to start.

Also, and I freely admit this may be totally in my mind, but the phone seems to run a bit less hot with the extended battery. I never liked the amount of heat the phone CPU area radiates but that problem seems far less significant since I went with the extended battery.

Anyway, I see it as a must have.
