Sim card not detected?

Ok this might be a stupid question but the last two times Ive restarted my D3 I get the same message and I dont remember getting it before. The phone is not running a sim card right now. So when I turn it on right on the unlock screen it says "Verizon Wireless/No Sim card" and then I get the little text msg ding and it tells me the sim card is not recognized. The msg clears before I get to read the rest. Has this always been there or is this new and is it a problem? Ive never put a sim card in yet. Thanks.

It may be a little funky trying to reboot. It's possible the SIM card may be going bad but if it's not a big deal to you then I would just leave it.

Out of curiosity, did your phone not come with a SIM card? I know mine did, the sales rep over the phone mentioned that it was standard when I ordered it. If it did not you may want to call Verizon and get them to send you one.
