Just got a Droid 4. Happy with it mostly (for business use, wanted a keyboard...).

It's really fast on 4gLTE! I have been reading about saving battery and that it's better to use an 802.11 network if a good one is available. I have one at home and it's plenty fast from our laptops and tablets at home. Even was fast from my, dare I say?, webOS Pre 2!

For some reason the Droid 4 browser is dog slow on the home network. I must be doing it wrong?

TIA!!!

Nobody's had this problem. Another observation: very slow to connect (e.g. start to open a web page) but ok once it starts to load...

In case anyone else has this problem:

- My router is a D-Link DIR-825
- After upgrading firmware to latest rev, forgetting and then reconnecting to the network from the DROID 4, problem solved!

Got my Droid 4 today and happy so far. Browser is fine, but I suggest Dolphin Browser HD instead.
