List of apps you can freeze ?
Is there one for the D4 or should it be more or less the same as other Motorola devices?
Like this one for the Droid 3 Apps that you can freeze!

I havent seen a formal list for the Droid 4, but I have frozen all of the bloatware, i.e mog music, backup assistant, google play movies (since it detects root), verizon im, guided tours, mobile hotspot (dont really use it), motoactv, moto print, news, slacker radio, slingbox, social networking, social sharing, social status, v cast tones, verizon location agent, verizon video, video surf, and vz navigator. hope this helps

Unfortunately yes. But the process is painless and takes a few minutes. After rooting, install an app like Titanium Backup and you can freeze apps you dont want to run in the background and drain battery
